my hardisk corrupted..

Last night, after i finish copy movies and series into my external hardisk, my external hardisk completely dissappear and non-accessible. It was corrupted!! My 4.5 years collections of songs, documents, photo, software are completely gone. My databases were destroyed and backups were gone. :( I still figure out why it suddenly become like that.

Whole night I’m looking for software to retrive the file from my corrupted hardisk. I found some, some are really working. But have to pay!! The price is higher than my hardisk price. Not worth!! But i still manage to find some ‘cracked’ one. Now my comp is busy retrieving back and copying back to the hardisk. Only 40% will back to it, and all the filenames are gone, all are renamed in file1, file2, ….. I have to spend some more time to figure out what is what, and rename it back. :( Anyway, it is still better than nothing.

Finally….

Today around 2.30pm, the long waited plumber finally knock my door bringing along his instruments to install my room heater. He took 2 hours to install the whole things, and he wore his shoes and STEPPED on my carpet!!!!, my carpet became very very dirty. After the installation, he test the heater. Found out that the heater is the faulty unit. LEAKING again. ISH!!!!! He had to repair the leaking part, and now everything is OK. Just that the paint smell is very very heavy. My nose can’t ‘tahan’

“What the FUCK” is the verse nice to listen? Why people just like to use such words instead of others? Everything “What the FUCK, What the FUCK” I hate it!!!! It seems like you’re very very rude, poor in culture. Why can’t you just use other better words?

heater

Today woke up early in the morning to get ready my place for heater installation. Commandan of the Hostel inform us, there will be a installation for heater at 9am, my bed had to move out from there, because heater have to be install at there. I get ready my place at 8.30am and went to class, when back home, i thought the installation will be completed. Who knows, there is still the same. I wait and wait till 4.45pm, commandan informed me that today is impossible to install the heater only tomorrow.
My room is very very messy because everything is here and there, just want to install the heater. I don’t know when the heater will be installed, i hope it will be done soon, and i can tidy back my room.

Life Time Warranty

4 years back, I bought a DLink DSL-500G for my streamyx broadband. The box stated “Life Time Warranty”. At that time, I was very doubtful; will it be really Life time warranty? Why this company so confidence about their product will never break down? Will the Life time warranty valid if this product is no more in production?

Today, it gave me the answer. The Life Time warranty is valid!! The modem is no more in production line, so DLink replaced the modem with another one which works better. Guess what? The Life Time warranty still VALID, means the new modem carry Life Time warranty. If you buy from shop, it only provides you with 1 year limited warranty. But this one is Life Time warranty. The shopkeeper told my dad that, “you’re super lucky one, because now no more life time warranty even limited one also don’t have.” Ahaha..

Thanks God for that, I knew you heard our prayers. :P and thank you Dlink for keeping your promise. Dlink is my trusted brand for networking hardwares.

Mid Autumn.

Today we walked through a park when going back hostel. I have my camera on hand and snapped some photo. The trees are are beautiful, and ground is covered by golden-yellow leaves. The weather is just nice, not very hot and not very cold, ideal for picnic. Hehe..

Things happen back home.

Last Friday, my home DLink ADSL Modem went crazy. Nobody can detect it. Luckily the modem is LIFE-TIME Warranty, so sent to repair free of charge.

Last Saturday, bought a new DLink ADSL Modem again, entered username and password, CANT use. Complain to TM, TM officer said, “Your password had been changed today” We don’t have modem how to change password? Someone using our account and password changed. Asked TM to reset. New password given. Still can’t use.

Sunday, TM officer came to my house, and asked is everything ok? My dad said still not ok, everything correct and still can’t connect. TM officer offer helps. He checked and found the code was wrong. Changed the code, Streamyx back to normal. Now TM is working better, even Sunday is their working day (Half-day), remember 2 years back, my streamyx always down, every Friday, 9am for sure will down, and complain to TM, they said 3 working days will be ok, they came on Wednesday. Because Saturday and Sunday are their off-days.

Sunday Night, my DLink Wireless PCMIA card gone crazy too. Un-detectable. Luckily this device also LIFE-TIME Warranty. Sent to repair too.

Monday Night, my ‘official’ car hit by a Nazaaaaaaaa from behind, there were 4 people in the car, my dad, mum, my sis and a 1 year old child… And luckily 4 people in the car are alright, though the back of the car is badly damaged. Sent to workshop today for repairs. This is the 2nd time, my ‘official’ car get hit. Wuei people… I know you kiasu, but I kiasi… Drive Safely. Okie?

Though there were so much unwanted events happened, God is looking after us and protecting us. Thanks God for everything that He had made.

Ophthalmology..Medical Check up

Starting from today till end of this week, we are going to have ophthalmology and we cover almost all topics about disease of the eyes include myopia.

Due to connection problems, i cant upload the photo that i took during our practical skill session. I will post up after the internet is back.

Today afternoon, I went to the same hospital again to get my Medical Booklet. It is like a report book recording your health status, you need to get a check-up once in 6 months. This is compulsory for all medical students in my university. Once in 6 month!!!, which is encouraged for all seniors citizens, and cancer patients. Are we senior citizens??? Aih….
